Clarins Ombre Iridescente Review.
Among all of the products that came out from the Clarins Contouring Perfection collection, the brains behind I’ve been coming back to (together with I’m not ashamed to mention it’s replaced everything else at my collection) is the Clarins Ombre Iridescente ($26, available at this point). I can’t get an ample amount of these cream-powder eyeshadow and the simple upgrade it adds to my daily makeup routine.
The Clarins Ombre Iridescente is an existing product and the Shaping Perfection saw three additional colors joining the permanent range (I only have two of the about three!) I never paid too much attention to this product when I check out the Clarins countertop so it was a genuine wonder to see how much I have been warm the Ombre Iridescente in the last few weeks. My opt for of the moment? #09 Silver Flower – just the perfect colour for everyday plus special occasions, depending on what you combine it with! Love enjoy it!
The Clarins Ombre Iridescente is available at: Sephora • The Salty • Shoppers Drug Mart

The product happens encased in a small pot which I can see being a potential formula for drying out. The product carries a velvet-like texture and is easily obtained with either my hands and fingers or a brush making program really easy. There is a bit of fall-out as soon as applying with a brush although that’s small enough to be disregarded considering how phenomenal the standard of this product is!

The formula applies as well as blends really nicely with powder products. I have used this specific over a concealer as an eyeshadow base to see if it will rev up the intensity but the basic didn’t seem to have much of an impression. A nude or whitened base would give this a extra pigmented finish though. I don’t mind as I use a lot of ultra pigmented eye shadows so it’s nice to experience something a little more subtle.
Pre-university myself would have balked at the idea of spending this kind of money on an eyeshadow that is supposedly subtle with not much fuss or enthusiasm to it. I believe L’Oreal’s Infallible Eyeshadow has a similar formula but I didn’t quite love it as much as I’ve grown have fun with wearing this. There’s just something about this formula and also that has truly replaced everything in my eyeshadow collection right now.
#09 Silver Rose is a colour which can be worn daily or for special events. It pairs up superbly with greys and purples depending on the glimpse you’re going for. #10 Silver Grey is but one that I thought was alright until I applied the idea and it just adds these am “oomph” factor to the final appearance. I like that both colors wear well on their own or when paired with another tone or shade.

This product is a really great buy if you’re in the market for some thing luxurious like the CHANEL Illusion d’Ombre or maybe Givenchy Ombre Couture Eyeshadow but might not be willing to splurge that much. You will discover certainly a few alternatives available in the drugstores and I can have returned to them but which will hasn’t been the case until finally I’ve tried this particular system. It’s got that special iridescent and satin finish that really upgrades your look!
Swatch these the next occasion you’re passing by a Clarins countertop – you’ll see what I mean!
